Hi Shooshie. I have missed "tap" tempo badly for some time now. But the 400 bpm trick does work. The music I do is very tempo involved.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

There's more, but I have a hard time separating what was fixed by Snow Leopard, vs. what was fixed in DP7. Snow Leopard was like getting a DP6 upgrade. Then DP7 came and made it even better. But there are things that are either still broken or got broken in the process. I did my best to document those things in the forum at MOTUNation.com, but it's hard to find that stuff now without doing a search.

One thing that was horribly broken was Tap Tempo, which now at least responds to the old work-around (starting with ONLY one tempo marker, set at 400) Bottom line; DP's getting better again. It's back to its prominence once experienced in the Classic Mac days, before OSX. I think things will be smooth sailing now.

Cheers,
