Overheard in the Theatre

Overheard at The Gazillion Bubble Show, New World Stages: Stage 3, 7/26/08 matinee
63 minutes into the show.

The fire alarm.

All theatres were evacuated mid-matinee to Urban Plaza while the Fire Department fixed the air conditioning. Audiences returned to their seats over 30 minutes later. We did not.
