Out Of My Range (and Other Age-Related Performance Issues) :: [YouTube promo] Original music and lyrics by Mike, book by Mike and Brent for a 10-song "backstage" song cycle that pulls back the curtain on generational differences within a Chorus. Rehearsals and social events leading up to the opening number of their next concert serve as the backdrop for a whimsical, fun, and revealing look at the age dynamics at play inside a gay men’s chorus. Commissioned by Dr. Stan Hill and the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus for their 2012 season and their performance at the GALA Choruses Festival 2012 in Denver. The world premiere was March 30-31, 2012 at Ted Mann Hall on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis.
Alexander's House :: Original music and lyrics by Mike, book by Mike and Brent for a one-act choral musical about a man who dies and leaves his summer home to his estranged son instead of his partner. It is a story about bringing people together from separate worlds and about the family of friends that we create. Commissioned by Jeff Buhrman and the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington DC for their 30th Anniversary Concert and their performance at the GALA Choruses Festival 2012 in Denver. The world premiere was June 4-5, 2011 at Lisner Auditorium on the George Washington University campus in Washington DC.

Through A Glass, Darkly :: [music samples] :: Original music, lyrics, and story by Mike for a 45 minute choral oratorio looking at the effects of crystal meth addiction in the GLBT community. Commissioned by Dr. Stan Hill and the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus for their 2008 season and their performance at the GALA Choruses Festival 2008 in Miami. The world premiere was March 29-30, 2008 at Ted Mann Hall on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis. Twin Cities Public TV produced a video of the concert and included interviews with some of the cast and artistic team. The video premiered statewide in MN on Saturday 6/21/08 and is available for purchase on DVD from TCGMC.org.

Playground :: Original music by Brent for an 80 minute modern dance theatre piece about one man's turnaround thru a visit to life's emotional playground. Created by Platforms co-choreographer and former Fosse dancer Jeff Shade.
The world premiere was December 4-6, 2008 at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center. Proceeds went to benefit two suicide prevention hotlines,
The Nine Line and The Trevor Project.

Man of the People :: Audio producing and editing by Brent for an 11-episode audio sitcom. Created by Kleban Award-winner Jeremy Desmon and voiced by Broadway's Sebastian Arcelus, Linda Gabler, Michael Thomas Holmes, Russell Koplin, and Lauren Weisman. The first episode was released free online on 8/26/08, with new episodes posted each Tuesday until Election Day, 11/4/08.
Live Entertainment
Rock Band® Live! :: Arrangements and original mashups written and produced by Mike and Brent for the interactive live stage show and gaming experience. A joint effort between MTV Games, Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, and RWS & Associates Entertainment, Inc.. Performances were daily throughout the 2010 summer season at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio, Canada's Wonderland outside of Toronto, and a third production toured 10 additional Cedar Fair parks.
Survivor: Live! :: Arrangements written and produced by Brent for the interactive, first-of-its-kind live stage show based on the Emmy-award winning television show. A joint effort between CBS Consumer Products and RWS & Associates Entertainment, Inc. and written & directed by Joey Wartnerchaney. Performances ran four times daily throughout the 2009 summer seasons at Denver's Elitch Gardens, Oklahoma City's Frontier City, and Buffalo's Darien Lake.
Carnaval de Fuego (2006) :: [Act I :: Act II :: Act III :: Act IV] :: Original score by Mike for the 2006 nightly spectacle at (then) Six Flags Elitch Gardens. A celebration of fireballs, flame juggling, clowns, tribal percussion, and more. Act IV features a remix of The Doors' "Light My Fire" with vocals by Broadway's Lisa Howard.
